5 Reasons to Learn English Via Zoom
Hi. I'm Fiona. I’m a qualified and experienced English teacher living and working in Spain. I’m also a student of Spanish and Arabic. I teach and learn both in person and online. These are my five reasons why I think Skype classes are awesome!
• Your time: It’s so much easier to switch on the laptop than it is to get on the metro and travel for another half an hour after you’ve already finished work, to sit in an academy group class with another five tired students like yourself!
• Your convenience: Face-to-face teachers and academies generally have their own timetable, that you have to adapt to. With Skype classes, you can request the class when it is convenient to you. Just after lunch, in the morning before work, whenever works for you, not the academy.
• Your teacher: You have the focused attention of the teacher, just for you. Lots more talk time, and classes tailored specifically for your needs, not the generic needs of people with more-or-less your level.
• Your choice: You have a pool of talented teachers to choose from, not just in your local area, but anywhere in the world! Maybe your teacher works in London, New York, or the town next to yours! The only limit is your choice, not what’s available nearby.
• Your wallet: Your money goes so much further! With no travel expenses, the classes scheduled for when you are ready for them, and 1-to-1 attention from a focused teacher just for you, you improve so much more quickly and don’t need to invest in course after course of more-or-less OK classes to get to your target level.
All in all, it makes so much sense to learn via Skype, and if you’re serious about improving, I think it’s the most efficient way to a better level!
